      Interesting question! Some of the oceans do actually freeze. There is no land at the North Pole. The only reason you can walk there is that it’s cold enough that the ocean has frozen up! In the winter more of the ocean freezes and in the summer some of it melts. If the Earth warms up a lot all the ice at the North Pole might disappear, so the only way to get there would be by boat or seaplane.
