• Question: where is your favorite place you have been because of your job

      I did some work in the scottish highlands and it really is one of the most beautiful places imaginable, hills, fields and open landscapes 🙂

      Central Turkey is truly amazing. And I would never have gone there if it wasn’t for work.

      Utah (USA) has amazing scenery as well.

      I went to a summer school in the Rocky Mountains in Canada. I got to see some bears and climb some mountains. I also got to see the glacier at Lake Louise and how much is has melted over recent decades.

      I had an awesome time on the icebreaker Polarstern in the central Arctic Ocean. It is just an almost unreal landscape, an ocean completely covered by ice!

      Although I didn’t technically go there because of my work, it was a holiday, I did choose it because it had LOTS of incredible geology! I visited Hawaii and it was truly brilliant.

      My favourite place properly through work has to be close run between South Africa and Tenerife.
