• Question: whats the difference between wood and bark?

      This is not my field of expertees, but I think that by definition wood is the fibrous, structural tissue that makes up the stems and roots of tress. Bark is just the outermost layer of the stem and roots of trees and is not part of the system that transports nutirents and water up and down the roots and stem (trunk) of a tree.
