• Question: what would happen if i was to fly to mars and see an alien or some kind of life? would i be famous?

      You would probably be famous just for flying to Mars!

      if you discovered life, even tiny microbes, that would be a fantastic achievement and would help further our understanding of how life develops on worlds other than the Earth!

      are you planning a trip there any time soon? 😉

      You would be very famous. No human has ever been to Mars before. It’s a very long way away (it would take years to get there!) and so far no one has stumped up the massive amount of money we would need to fund the trip.

      You would be super famous! Simon & Angus are right, no one has ever been to Mars, so that in itself would make you famous. The Mars Curiosity Rover is looking for signs of life and if it were find any it would be a great success for the mission. Imagine if you saw an alien or found life?!
