I really don’t know. Most of the time predictions of the future are quite a way off. If you watch old sci-fi films you will see what people in years past thought the 2000s would be like. Sometimes they are way too optimistic with technological predictions (hovercars and so on) and sometimes they are way too pessimistic (computer screens from ‘futuristic’ films are often really rubbish – sometimes not even in colour).

Young people like you are the future, so ultimately you get to decide what it’s like 🙂

That is a really though question!

The Earth has changed a lot since it originally formed, so I guess it would not be unreasonable for us to expect it to change significantly in the future.
In the short term, I think one of the biggest changes is going to come about due to how quickly population is growing. I think the planet will be come overcrowded with dense clusters of people. We need to think about rising sea levels and deforestation also.
In the much longer term, we can expect that continents will move around and that would mean the continents as we know them would change. It would likely lead to new species of animals and insects forming.
To be honest, your guess is as good as mine :)!

the future is pretty big, it stretches from a few moments from now, right until the end of the planet in about 4-5 billion years time!

in the short term, our climate will probably change, as it is already doing, although I think nobody really knows *how* it will change

We will hopefully find alternatives to fossil fuels and replace them with better, cleaner, renewable sources of energy such as fusion power, this should help to reduce our impact on the changing climate

More problematically, the population will continue to increase, which will put a further strain on our resources, hopefully we can get this under control before it is too late!

Ok, here are some thoughts from the top of my head. I think in the near future nothing will change a lot form what it is now, the world population will continue to grow, animals will become extinct, economy and money will continue to be the most important things in politics.
And maybe, in some distant future, if we haven’t killed each other or made the earth an uninhabitable place, people will maybe realise that we can only live with nature, not against it.
