I like maths, science and geography. I can’t really pick one as my best. I did OK in all of them and I enjoyed them. I like variety, so if I had my way I would have been able to study even more subjects! That include non-science ones like history and languages.

Actually, my best subjects at school, by quite some way, were English Literature and History. My teachers really wanted me to take them at A level and hoped I go on tostudy one of them at University. I chose to do science instead because I enjoyed it more, much to my teacher’s dispair, who even called my parents into school to talk about the choices I was making!

Maths was by far my favourite and best subject. I just love solving problems using logic and rules. And I really like geometry. It just makes sense! My Maths teachers were really old school and we used text books from the 1970s. They were pretty strict but ofcourse we pushed them to the limits with our childish behaviour!

      Geography was up there too.

Probably the two reasons why I am doing geophysics!

I think it was English and Geology, but I was horrible at Maths and Physics.
