probably somewhere between 6 and 7 hours a night, I like to get in to the office quite early (around 7am) so I have to get up early, but all the best stuff is on TV quite late!

Also, I have a young son, there is a very wise saying regarding kids

“kids who go to sleep early, wake up early, kids who go to sleep late, wake up early!” So I rarely get to sleep-in anyway!!

I like my sleep! I usually aim for 7 to 8 hours. Sometimes on the weekend I sleep really late. Other times I really like getting up early and going for a run before the world wakes up. The world is so peaceful and beautiful at dawn.

I cannot function very well without 8 hours sleep! But I have to admit at pulling late nights following by early mornings if I have a deadline. With research, you never know what problems with arise, just when you don’t need them!

I really like my sleep and I also can’t function very well if I dont get much sleep, so I try to aim for about 8 hours a night! If I’ve got a deadline or am on field work, I might sleep a lot less, between 4 and 6 hours. I try to avoid little sleep though, I’m not much of a morning person at the best of times…

Usually I try to get 7 to 8 hours, and on the weekends I am a huge fan of afternoon naps!
