      Loads! I don’t know exactly how many there are. Probably hundreds, but maybe around 50 erupt each year. They group together where the ‘plates’ floating on top of the lava inside the Earth crash together. A lot of them are around the edge of the Pacific because there’s a big plate boundary there.
