I’ve only had to work in areas where animals are around (sometimes in farmers fields)

I once had to work in a field full of young bulls, they are very curious creatures and one of he chaps I was with left his car window down so he could listen to the radio while he worked, I caught a bull with its head fully inside the car, licking the headrest on the drivers seat! the poor chap had to drive home with his car smelling like cow breath…..

No, not really. I have three dogs, and had lots of rabbits and chickens when growing up. I also used to ride horses when I was much younger. Animals are amazing 🙂

My work doesn’t involve animals, but I grew up on a farm full of them. We had cows mainly, but also some sheep and pigs, plus a dog, a cat, some rabbits and chickens.

Well my research definitely involves animals, but they are super tiny microbes, so not very spectacular at first sight… but those guys are extremely important for all other life on earth, as they keep our most basic element cycles going!

No, sadly I’ve never had a chance to work with animals through my research and I doubt I will, but never say never!
I’ve worked in places were there where plenty of wild animals, the most exciting thing I’ve seen are wild hippos, black rhinos and antelopes!
