      The only thing I think I have going for me is the beard! quite a few kids have taken a shine to it, so I might get a few extra votes for that….

      I knew it would come in handy one day! 😉

      Honestly I think it’s anyone’s game at the moment, everyone is giving great answers and really showing how much they love their science!

      I don’t think I do! I think we all are experts in our field and keen to share our love of science.
      If anything might help me out a little, I’m hoping it’s my photo with the lion cub. I’ve had a few questions about that!

      I don’t think so… I am not particularly young, nor intelligent, nor overly ambitious, nor a great speaker or writer… And given the absolutely genius scientists I meet at conferences, I rather feel like an absolute greenhorn again. Sometimes I can be funny though, and usually other scientists like to cooperate with nice funny people, rather than with weirdos without a sense of humor.
