I’m afraid that unless it’s something that can be proven through scientific or logical enquiry, I don’t believe it

I do think there is life on other planets somewhere, but that is based on my knowledge of how old and vast the universe is, and the sheer diversity of life on this planet gives me hope that it exists elsewhere!

I’m a great fan of the TV show mythbusters for that very reason!

I used to really love reading about myths and legends. Greek and Hindu mythology is really rich and varied, and I love reading about Arthurian legends as well. I don’t think any of them are actually true though. But I think we can still learn a lot from them. Myths about the creation of the Earth can tell us a lot about the kind of people who wrote them down, and what their culture was like. They’re also pretty fun stories to read sometimes 🙂

If I’ve got my science head on, no I don’t beleive in myths. However, I do like to read about them and be transported to mythical places.

I really like to believe in myths about marine monstrosities! If you have ever been out on the ocean, it is fairly easy to imagine that there are unimaginable creatures down there. For example, over the last years it has appeared that the myths about giant squid living in the depths of the ocean are actually true! Just search the internet for Giant Squid videos – if you find the presentation given on the TED science channel, you are in for a treat!
