I did physics at A-level and did pretty well. I think I should have done chemistry as well but I chose computing instead. Computing wasn’t very good!

I only tok sciences at A-level, biology, chemistry and physics. I passed all of them, but didn’t do very well in physics! It’s funny because physics is the pure science I used most in my PhD now!

I studied Physics and Chemistry at A-Level, I would have done Biology as well, but thought maths would be a better fit with physics

I passed them, but wish I’d tried harder as the grades weren’t as high as I would have liked!

I did Physics and Chemistry, but also maths and geography. Passed them all and did well. The geophysics degree at Leeds demanded really high grades because of the extra year studying in North America, so I had no choice to make sure I got them.

I took a year out after my A levels which I definitely needed after all that studying!

Sorry, in Germany we don’t have the same system as in the UK. I did my “Abitur” which is roughly similar, and interestingly I mostly did languages…
