• Question: Are there any fields of science you dislike , or get squeamish about?

      I think most fields of science are interesting and worthwhile, I don’t think I dislike any of them

      I’m not sure I would enjoy studying pathology (the study of diseases) too much as some of the diseases can be pretty nasty!

      I agree with Simon about pathology – I think medicine in general would not give me great pleasure, I would probably not enjoy cutting people up…

      I find medical stuff really interesting, but I’m not sure I could handle it myself!

      Sometimes it makes me sad to think that people spend scientific research money on building weapons when that money could be spent on useful things.

      Like simon and Chris, I’m not sure I could handle a medical related career. I think the science behind it is really interesting, I just don’t think I could cope with the blood and disease :s!

      I agree with Angus, I don’t really agree with money spent on scientific research that might lead to harm to humans or animals.
