Of course! But wars are something humans have always had. They are caused by humans, not science, so we need to work on improving human relations. I don’t know how science would be able to help.

Perhaps we could design some kind of drug that would make people peaceful, but I think it would be immoral to give it to everyone in the world.

I certainly would, although it’s not clear how to do so, many wars are caused by different ideaologies, often religious or spiritual in nature, I would hope science could demonstrate answers to these ‘big’ questions and maybe settle disputes, however it’s very difficult to change people’s minds about deeply held beliefs, and this in itself can create conflict

I think science needs to work on helping as many people in as many ways as possible and hopefully this will lead to a better and less violent future!

In my opinion, World Peace can only be solved through diplomatic solution, reasoning and through making the world more equal. Wars occur over territory, resources, history and difference in culture. Power hungry people exploit the fears of their people and followers, which can often lead to wars.

Science can help make the world more equal, and can play a part in sharing knowledge of different cultures. But it cannot do anything about people who desire power. We will always have those, but let’s reduce the reasons they have to create war.
