unless you’re a sleepwalker, you don’t physically go anywhere other than your bedroom!

any feelings you have of moving around are typically caused by the brain creating dreams as it sorts and organises information

I actually am a massive sleep walker. I have jumped out of windows, climbed walls but also fallen down stairs. So for me, this question means a completely different thing.

Whilst normal sleeping is concerned, you don’t go anywhere! Your normal awake functions shut down so that your mind sorts out your memories and experiences. If I have done something exciting during the day, I will always dream about it during the night as my brain makes sense of the emotions and the feelings.
