I’m working on computer simulations of the atmosphere when I change the amount of carbon dioxide and the amount of reflective particles in the atmosphere. At the moment I’m looking at how the rainfall changes when we add reflective particles and whether that counteracts the changes caused by carbon dioxide. The answer is NO! But I’m digging deep into the results to find out why. I’m having to do quite a bit of reading at the moment because the bit I don’t understand is in the Tropics and I don’t know a lot about tropical weather.
I’m currently fine-tuning some software I wrote to measure the energy required to crush rocks in the bond-impact tester, I’m also doing some lab testing firing ultrasonic waves through a steel/concrete layered system for use in structural engineering assessment
